This review checked the six published 0.1.0-rc.0 packages from 3d563791052237d205c252a3a1fefef126a45940. Downloaded archives matched the reviewed bytes and registry integrity metadata. Stable 0.1.0 promoted the same library implementation; package manifests and READMEs changed for stable installation. The RC0 prerelease and its release verification refer to the candidate commit. Stable 0.1.0 subsequently passed full supported verification on 526ea39af39413d1ea2693b3961c127343b982e4, followed by OIDC publication and registry/consumer checks. Both historical GitHub release records remain available.

Method and results

The client review used installed npm packages outside the repository, Node 24.20.0 on macOS arm64, isolated client configuration, and deterministic local API fixtures. Codex used its direct app-server tool-call API; Claude used a loopback Messages API fixture. No paid inference, live OAuth login, or persistent user configuration changes were involved. These checks do not establish production-application or interactive GUI compatibility. The 12 non-passing assertions reproduce the client limitations from the 2026-10-22 interoperability review. They are recorded as limitations and are not counted as passing checks.

Limitations and workarounds

  1. Codex direct-call timeout: the tested client times out without promptly aborting server work. Applications doing expensive work should impose their own execution deadlines. Explicit stdio cancellation and HTTP disconnect controls pass in both revisions; Toolgrain cancellation remains cooperative through ctx.signal.
  2. Claude rich-result rendering: supplemental text is hidden when structured content is supplied. Put essential narrative in structured content, or use text-only content where the tool contract permits it. Both workarounds pass on all three tested transports.
Cursor execution/cancellation, modern Claude Code coverage, live OAuth login, and GUI flows remain unverified. HTTP scope is independent POST requests with JSON responses. Resources, prompts, elicitation, persistent sessions, streaming, progress, resumability, and subscriptions remain outside this release. The compatibility guide covers the earlier baseline and reproduction commands. The support policy defines the runtime/platform and declaration checks required for future releases. These historical results do not establish compatibility for untested clients or waive future supported regressions.
